Monitoring Walney Offshore Windfarm's Long Export Cables

Omnisens systems are checking the temperature of the 48 km and 49 km subsea export cables which deliver the electrical power produced by the Walney offshore windfarms to the onshore substations.
Operated by DONG Energy, the windfarms Walney 1 and 2 have a combined capacity of 367 MW. Click here for case study.
